Today was K's first day back at school since brandon was born. When her teacher asked what her brother's name was, Kaya said (very quietly) "tickles. but Daddy calls him Brandon".

Kaya's Baby Brother

Kaya's baby brother Brandon was born on Sept 7, 2011 at 2:54pm. He was 8 pounds, 9 ounces, and 21.5 inches long. Kaya came to the hospital to visit Mommy, Daddy and Brandon that night. She brought Brandon a gift - a firetruck that she painted for him. And Brandon gave Kaya a gift too - a stuffed alligator friend for her other stuffed alligator. Kaya was very cute and shy when she saw Brandon for the first time - she mostly wanted to sit up in the bed with Mommy and Brandon and just look at him.

4 years old

Kaya turned 4 on Sept 4! She had her grandparents over for a birthday party, complete with pizza and a chocolate cookie dough ice cream cake. decorated with giraffes of course.
